Sisti & Others, Inc. is a spin-off of a major, New Jersey full service advertising agency. The company was formed in 1992 by Sara and Michael Sisti as a virtual marketing agency, filling a need for quick-response, affordable marketing services. Within the framework of this new concept, Sisti & Others provided a full range of advertising, public relations, print production and marketing consultation services, without the overhead and bureaucracy of a traditional advertising agency
The concept was an immediate success, as the market was demanding quicker response times from agencies, as well as lower fees. S&O began serving both national corporations and local entrepreneurs. As a result of the acceptance of this new structure for advertising services, Mr. Sisti was invited to speak on the virtual agency concept at a conference of advertising agency CEOs in New York City.
In 1995, S&O produced a multi-purpose enrollment kit for the healthcare division of MetLife. In designing the graphics for the package, the agency created a brand identity for the division, which was carried through all the product literature. With this success in their portfolio, S&O pitched, and was awarded a huge consulting contract from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. The contract called for S&O to completely revamp their communications department, analyze their current advertising campaign and recommend improvements to revitalize their sagging brand image. The initial work for the insurer was so successful that Mr. Sisti took a five-year leave from the agency to work exclusively for Blue Cross where he served as the company’s Chief Communications Officer. Sara Sisti, after moving the office to Rhode Island, continued to serve a select group of clients in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, as well as some new clients in the Ocean State.
In 2002 Mr. Sisti returned to his position of vice president of Sisti & Others and the company moved to Sarasota, Florida where it has expanded its service offerings and enlarged its client roster.
